  • Exchanges will only be accepted, subject to :
    ·        the items are in original condition & packaging with all tags attached
    ·        the items have not been worn, damages or washed
    ·        you notify us within 7 days of receipt of goods
    ·        the items are faulty
    ·        the items received are different to the goods you have ordered
    How to return an order?
    To apply for a return or exchange, please email us at info@clairdelunekids.com with your original order details as well as a reason as to why you wish to return or exchange your purchase.  
    Upon receiving the garments, we will assess the items and if it satisfies our requirements we will offer an exchange, credit note or refund. If the garment/s do not satisfy our requirements the items will be sent back to the recipient.
    Refunds will be made to the original purchaser’s credit card. Return shipping will not be refunded unless the item is deemed faulty. return shipping must be prepaid via traceable method (we recommend registered post) to ensure safe and documented delivery.
    Clair de Lune does not accept responsibility of customer sent return or exchange packages; so it is advised that when shipping returns or exchanges that meet the above required criteria, customers should select a service that provides tracking.
  • Shipping costs for South Africa
  • Subject to availability and receipt of payment in full, orders will be processed within 3 – 4 working days (Mondays to Fridays). Notice of dispatch by courier will be confirmed by way of an email sent to the customer enclosing a copy of the waybill.
    2.1    Contracted courier:
    2.1.1 “The Courier Guy” is Clair de Lune’s chosen courier service and will be responsible for collections and deliveries countrywide & all international shipping.
    2.1.2 For verification purposes, the person accepting delivery at the delivery address may be required to produce a form of identification
    2.2    Courier Charges:
    2.2.1  An ordered product is packaged, at the discretion of Clair de Lune, in packaging deemed suitable for the safe transport of the product.
    2.2.2.1  The packaging does not exceed a volume of 450mm x 300mm x 300mm ; and
    2.2.2.2  The combined mass of product(s) and packaging does not exceed the prescribed maximum weight of 20kg to qualify for shipping rates
    2.2.3  Should a parcel exceed either of the above restrictions in 2.2.2.1 or
    2.2.2.2, correspondence will be sent by Clair de Lune to the customer advising them of the additional courier charges payable.
    3.1    Passing of Risk
    3.1    Risk in the product(s) ordered shall pass to the customer on delivery.
    3.2    Clair de Lune  will retain ownership of the product(s) ordered until payment is received in full, including courier charges.
    3.3    Use of Website, Errors and omissions
    The use of the Website is entirely at the customer’s own risk and the customer shall assume full responsibility for any risk or loss resulting from use of the Website or reliance on any information on the Website.
    3.4    Liability for Loss or damages
    3.1.1 Clair de Lune shall not be liable for loss or damages which might arise from the customer’s use of, or reliance upon, the Website or the content contained in the Website or the customer’s  inability to use the Website;
    3.1.2 The customer hereby indemnifies Clair de Lune against any loss, claim or damage which may be suffered by the customer or any third party arising in any way from the customer’s use of this website and/or any linked third party website.
    3.1.3 An order will not be deemed to be complete until payment is received in full, including courier charges.  As a result of this, Clair de Lune accepts no liability for any loss or damages incurred by the customer or a third party should products become unavailable while payment for an order is outstanding. Although we will make every effort to keep the system updated.
    Consumer privacy policy
    Clair de Lune shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).
    Payment options accepted
    Payment may be made via Visa or MasterCard Credit Cards, or by bank transfer into the Clair de Lune bank account, the details for which will be provided on request.
    Credit card acquiring and security
    Credit card transaction will be acquired for Clair de Lune via Pay Fast(Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. Pay Fast uses the strictest form of encryption,  and no credit card details are stored on the Website. Users may go to www.payfast.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
    Customer details separate from card details
    Customer details will be stored by Clair de Lune separately from card details which are entered by the customer on Pay Fasts’ secure site. For more detail on Pay Fast, refer to www.payfast.co.za.
    Merchant outlet country and transaction currency
    The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa.  Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
    Country of domicile
    This Website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Clair de Lune chooses its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process or notices as:

    Prices and products displayed on this Website are subject to change without notice.
    It is the customer’s responsibility to regularly check these Terms and Conditions.
    Customers who are not satisfied with these Terms and Conditions, must not place any orders on, or in any other way use, this Website.

    Clair de Lune is not registered for VAT yet.  The prices quoted on this Website therefore exclude Value-Added Tax

    How long does it take to receive my ordered items and how much will it cost?
    You will receive your order via The Courier Guy within 3-4 working days (Monday - Friday) of payment received into Clair de Lune account.
    How will I know you received my order?
    Clair de Lune will email your tracking number along once the order has been approved.
